Videography Masterclass

Dive into the world of underwater videography with our 6-session Videography Masterclass. Craft your sequences and create a final production you'll be proud to share. The course covers importing, organizing, and editing video content, using software like Apple Final Cut Pro or iMovie for Apple users, and alternatives such as Davinci Resolve for PC users.

CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER

  • 1 Dive / 1/2 Day

  • 9m/30ft max depth

  • Theory presentations

  • Shallow skills session

  • Prerequisites - 18 years or older with Open water diver or equivalent

Course Description:

Ever wanted to try diving on a rebreather? Want to see what it’s like to dive with no bubbles?

The one day introduction to the JJ-CCR rebreather diving starts with morning theory, teaching you basic fundamentals of rebreather diving and the philosophy behind it. We then jump in the shallow confined water, to run through the gear and full set-up, making sure you’re comfortable. This is the perfect way to try the experience, seeing if it’s a route you want to dive into deeper.

CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER AIR DILUENT DIVER CERTIFICATION (MOD 1.1)

  • 7-9 Dives

  • 30m/100ft max depth

  • 6-7 days

  • Minimum age 18, Certified Nitrox diver, proof of minimum 20 logged dives

Course Description:

This TDI course is specific to the JJ-CCR unit. It is the first step to closed circuit rebreather diving (CCR Diving) and an amazing quiet diving experience with no bubbles. This course uses the most up to date technology CCR’s to maximise your Nitrox supply and provide the diver with the optimum breathing gas for the required depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen (PPO2).

Throughout the course, divers will learn the setup and maintenance of the unit, loop volume management, calibration of electronics, emergency procedures, buoyancy control and CNS tracking whilst conducting a minimum of seven dives to a maximum depth of 30m.

Upon successful completion, divers can go to a maximum depth of 30m using air diluent.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Satisfactorily complete the TDI CCR Air Diluent Decompression examination with a passing score of 80%, followed by 100% remediation by the Instructor

  • Complete all open water requirements efficiently

  • Demonstrate mature and sound judgment concerning dive planning and execution

  • Course must be completed within 6 weeks from the starting date

  • Complete a refresher course following a period of inactivity greater than 6 months following the course

 

CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER AIR DILUENT DECOMPRESSION DIVER COURSE (MOD 1.2)

  • 7-9 Dives

  • 40m/130ft max depth

  • 6-7 days

  • Minimum age of 18, Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Diver or TDI CCR Air Diluent Diver with 30 logged hours, Proof of minimum 50 logged dives

Course Description:

The TDI Air Diluent Closed Circuit Decompression Procedures Diver Course is designed specifically for the JJ-CCR unit. It is the second certification level for divers wishing to use a closed circuit rebreather for air diving.

During the course, students will learn the benefits as well as the hazards for CCR diving. In addition to learning proper procedures, divers will also develop their already established diving skills hugely whilst diving in deeper with the /JJ-CCR unit, go over the setup and maintenance of the unit, loop volume management, calibration of electronics, emergency procedures, buoyancy control and CNS tracking.

Upon successful completion, divers can go to a maximum depth of 40m using air diluent for formal decompression diving.
